Careers in Languages workshop at UEA

Students were able to savour the possibility of doing a language degree and bore witness to the myriads of potential career opportunities that it could unlock.

They also participated in a live TV presentation studio workshop, a real-time interpreting workshop, a Careers in Languages workshop and a prospective languages degree course workshop where details were given about the year abroad options available in French and Spanish-speaking countries as well as in Japan.

This day proved to be a real eye-opener for the students who were given a clear roadmap in terms of a possible direction for their future studies and a potential career pathway. It certainly gave them food for thought.

We would like to thank our UEA hosts who had gone to some lengths to prepare both an exciting and rewarding day for our students.
