Drama students have a splendid time with the Splendid Theatre Company

The workshop was to support their Component 2 NEA practical work on performing texts in the Total Theatre style.

The students fully engaged with the workshop, exploring Total Theatre’s non-naturalistic style. Working as an ensemble, the students used mime and exaggerated vocal and physical skills to think outside of the box, of how to physicalise storytelling and to make their performances larger than life.

The students thoroughly enjoyed the workshop saying, “I really enjoyed the workshop this morning and that I appreciate the opportunity that you give us to work with such a wonderful company. It was a truly incredible experience!”
