DT students visit London Design Biennale
On Friday the 23rd June, our Year 1 A Level Design Technology students had a fantastic day visiting the London Design Biennale at Somerset House.
The London Design Biennale is a global stage for world-leading contemporary design and design-led innovation, creativity and research. The students took part in many interactive exhibitions and were inspired by many of the designs, all of which aimed to address real world issues through collaboration and a sustainable approach to design. A positive outlook towards the earth, and humanities future was palpable, and many students have found a way in which the results of the trip can feed directly into their DT coursework. Not only that but it was a glorious, sunny day!
